Affordable Language Services is Hiring Interpreters

We need ALL LANGUAGES including SIGN LANGUAGE.

We specialize in on-site interpretation (oral). Our interpreting appointments take place in the Greater Cincinnati area, Northern Kentucky, Dayton, Cleveland, Columbus and Chicago. All of our Interpreters work part-time as Independent Contractors. This is a perfect job for someone who wants a flexible work schedule and good pay.

For Interpreters you must:

• Speak English and at least one other language at a fluent level
• Have specialized knowledge (medical or legal terminology) due to work or educational experience
• Be willing to be trained in medical or legal interpreting (offered periodically in Cincinnati for a fee)
• Be sensitive to cultures other than your own
• Be able to work legally in the United States

Affordable Language Services is also Hiring Translators

Affordable Language Services translator requirements:

• Be ATA certified if applicable to your language combination OR
• Have a degree in translation or in your language combination
• Have undergone intensive formal translation training at an accredited institution
• If this is not possible in your language, then you must have 5 years or more of translation experience

We welcome those with experience doing DTP and Website / Software Localization skills are a plus.
